Dr. Alathari earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2005. Before that, he completed four years of rigorous medical and surgical training abroad, giving him a broad medical perspective when diagnosing and treating complex dental issues.
Since graduation, his advanced continuing education has focused on:

Dr. Alathari has integrated CAD/CAM and CEREC technology into daily practice since 2009. Cone Beam 3D imaging and in-house CAD/CAM milling support same-day crowns, accurate implant placement, and custom restorations with efficient turnaround.
He uses high-strength, biocompatible dental materials to support durable, aesthetic outcomes.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Alathari lives in McLean, VA with his wife and two children. He enjoys soccer, swimming, and traveling with his family.
